Whilst prodding around I took a look at the heat map for this particular site and noticed a substantial amount of traffic (22%) was clicking on a link that was way below the fold. I hopped on over to Clicky and entered the dashboard. I can’t remember what it was, perhaps something on TV, that prompted me to check on the site and how it was performing. This ticked along nicely for a few months and I left it alone. When I started to see a few AdSense clicks here and there I stepped up the SEO and saw an immediate increase in earnings.
